About the Scientific Calculator
Supported operations
Basic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
Powers and roots: x², x³, √x, ∛x, xʸ
Trigonometry: sin, cos, tan (and their inverses)
Logarithms: log₁₀ and natural log (ln)
Constants: π (pi) and e (Euler's number)
Degrees vs Radians
Trigonometric functions can work in either degrees (°) or radians (rad). Degrees are the familiar 0–360 system. Radians measure angles as fractions of π — a full circle = 2π radians = 360°. Most engineering and physics uses radians.
Order of operations (BODMAS)
Brackets first: 2 × (3 + 4) = 14, not 10
Then: Orders (powers, roots)
Then: Division and Multiplication (left to right)
Then: Addition and Subtraction (left to right)
Use this calculator's buttons sequentially to match BODMAS
